  • Dear fellow camper!

This website is an initiative of two enthusiastic camping holiday fans.

As far as we are concerned, the combination of campsite atmosphere and comfort is the most ideal type of holiday. In the somewhat chilly springtime this is preferably a mobile home fitted with all conveniences and in summer it is a spacious family tent with all the basic luxuries we are used to at home. This is how we have spent our holidays for over 25 years, at the start just the two of us and later with our children.

Thumbing the holiday guides, you’ll notice that the same campsites are often found in different guides. Even on holiday you’ll see many known providers in the same places. To us it seems there is a need for an overview of campsites and providers. It is up to you to reap the benefits.

In October 2002, on starting the Dutch version of this website (www.huurtent.nl), we had no idea of the extent of positive feedback we were to receive, from both information searchers as well as camping holiday providers. This provides us with the energy to continue, keeping our website up-to-date and expanding it with new information.

Partly due to the success we have had over the past few years, we have decided to create an English version of this website, mainly aimed at the English-speaking market and with British and Irish providers. In doing so, we trust we will be of service to you.

The summer of 2007 was the first season in which we were able to help you with your search for the most beautiful spots at various providers in the UK and Ireland.

The season 2012-2013 will be the sixth season, and again, we would be delighted to receive your opinions and suggestions through email: info@rentamobilehome.co.uk.

    Happy holidays!
