An excellent base for exploring this beautiful and peaceful corner of England, a host of orchards, hop fields and pretty villages surround the park. Historic Rye, the ancient Cinque Ports, the numerous attractions of Canterbury and many places of interest are all within easy reach. If you do leave the park and go exploring you will be spoiled for choice. There are some lovely beaches nearby for those who enjoy soaking up the rays or building sand castles. Culture vultures will love the nearby town of Rye with its castle, art galleries and wide range of unusual shops.
