This lovely family campsite is located on the Atlantic Coast close to the towns of St. Nazaire and Nantes. The sea, beach and centre of the village of La Bernerie-en-Retz are within walking distance (400 m). You and your family will not be bored at this campsite in France. Camping Les Écureuils has a fully renovated aqua park and leisure pool with heated swimming pool, slides, jacuzzi, waterfall and a safe children's area with games. You can relax on the loungers around the swimming pool. Adults can take part in water polo and aqua gym during high season.

There is an entertainment programme for both young and old and you can enjoy a drink at the bar. If you don't feel like cooking one evening, you can get a take-away meal. Sports enthusiasts can play tennis on the new tennis courts. You can also play boules on the new bowling green, enjoy the new trampoline and play table tennis. And don't forget the multisports field!

The Atlantic beaches are just 400 m away. You can swim in the pool filled with sea water and learn to sail at the sailing school. At low tide, you can go fishing for mussels and other types of shellfish!

There is plenty to see in the area. You can enjoy the nearby fishing villages. The charming fishing harbour at Pornic is highly recommended. You can also visit the Noirmoutier aquarium, explore the islands or visit the salt museum in Batz.
