The superb facilities include two large swimming pools, all surrounded by attractive trees, flowering shrubs and tennis courts. However, the parc’s focal point is the lovely little courtyard with its popular bar and restaurant.

In high season, an ‘animateur’ arranges a variety of sports events, ‘soirées’, weekly discos in the bar and daily canoe or kayak trips on the River Vézère, which flows right past the parc. That’s the beauty of Le Paradis, it is set amidst France’s loveliest countryside, close to the meandering rivers of the Dordogne.
