The atmosphere at this campsite is perfect. In the restored barn you will find a lovely restaurant and you can also have dinner on the terrace outside complete with a great view across the lake.The beautiful Périgord Noir is set on the rolling hills with woodlands in the south of the Dordogne. In the middle of this beautiful countryside you’ll find campsite Le Moulinal, set in the grounds around Castle Biron. The name comes from the castle mill, which used to be responsible for the milling. It’s now a very spacious campsite. During the development of the campsite there was always great respect for nature and the whole campsite has got a very ecological friendly build and atmosphere. On the extensive grounds of the campsite you have a crystal clear lake and a sandy private beach, where you can swim or practise fishing. At the campsite you can swim in the heated outdoor pool or indoor pool or Jacuzzi. In high season Le Moulinal organises many activities and entertainment for the whole family. One of the children’s activities is to pay a visit to the farm on the campsite and learn all about farming. The Dordogne is a great place for day trips out for the whole family.

You can rent a canoe for a pleassant tour or a mountain bike with children's seat if you wish.

In the lush, green area betrween the rivers Lot and Dordogne you can take marvellous walks, bicycle rides or simply just enjoy the nature.
