Le Canigou**
The friendly family camp site Le Canigou is located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the sunny South of France in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. You will find everything here for an unforgettable camping holiday: the site is surrounded by overwhelming nature.


The small river on the camp site is most unusual! Its source is in the Canigou, a high mountain after which the camp site is named. A dam has been built in the river that criss-crosses the site, creating a natural swimming pool with clean water. Wonderful for the children! Plastic sandals are recommended because of the stones on the river bed. The recreational lake at Vinça (5 km) is much bigger and here you can go swimming and canoeing. This camp site is a winner with sports enthusiasts: a professional organisation arranges with much enthusiasm rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking and other adventurous activities.
