De la Tour***
A small and quiet campsite situated at the foot of the Tour d'Agos-Vidalos mountain, between Lourdes and Argelès-Gazost.

The pitches are both shady and sunny, and the campsite has good facilities with a friendly atmosphere. There is a play area for the children, a television room, a swimming pool with a separate pool for little children and a large waterslide. The spacious layout of the campsite provides plenty of privacy. The village of Agos-Vidalos is only a short distance from the campsite and has a selection of bars and shops. Guests from the Domain de la Tour campsite can use all the facilities at Du Lavedan in the village of Argelès-Gazost as they have the same owner.

The Pyrenees are a perfect choice for those looking for mountain walks. This French mountain range that borders Spain is quite different to the Alps. The mountains are very rugged and more challenging with steep paths and roads, perfect for high-altitude activities such as rafting, mountain biking, climbing and healthy mountain walks. The longest French walking route is the GR 10, which runs across the northern slopes of this area. You can reach the route by first using the small railway that will take you 1000m up the mountain. In order to reach the campsite you will have to go via the popular pilgrimage town of Lourdes, then proceed another 12 kilometres south. In addition to its famous Maria cave, Lourdes also has historic buildings and interesting museums. Even closer to the campsite is Argelès-Gazost, a lovely city with shops, bars and restaurants. For children there is a good zoo featuring many of the animals that make the Pyrenees their home.
