Chateau de Grange Fort***
Château de Grange Fort is in every sense of the word an unusual and very beautiful family camp site. If not just for its location! This camp site in the Auvergne is set on an old country estate around a 15th century castle on a hill.

The friendly family campsite Château La Grange Fort is extensively laid out and part of a 25 hectare estate with the "fairytale castle" La Grange Fort as the focal point, dating back to the fifteenth century. The estate extends to the shores of one of the longest and most beautiful rivers in France, the Allier, where you can swim, or go fishing. There is lot to do on the campsite, a tennis court, bowls, canoe and cycle hire as well as an entertainments team offering a variety of fun activities. In high season, there is Dutch children's entertainment specially for the little ones. For water fun there is a swimming pool with paddling pool.

The area surrounding the camp is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers, although in fact all sports enthusiasts will enjoy their stay here. Lots of exciting excursions are organised from the site, so you will be able to go on canoe trips, take part in climbing and abseiling, raft building and rafting. Watercolour courses are offered during the pre-season. La Grange Fort is a wonderful holiday destination for the whole family. It will be hard to find a more beautiful spot in France!
